Angels Camp RV Resort

These health and safety protocols for reopening Angels Camp RV Resort are based on established government health and safety guidance. We are welcoming guests to come and practice social distancing at one of our campsites while enjoying our fresh air and the nature around us. We will be taking reservations for fully contained RVs only: No Tents or Cabins. Public gatherings are not allowed, therefore, all public spaces in the Resort will remain closed: bathrooms, showers, playground, kitchen pavilion, pool, horseshoe pit, basketball hoop, etc.

If you are feeling sick, running a temperature or coughing, please do not come to the resort. A full refund will be issued if you are sick and need to cancel your reservation.
Guests will be greeted at the kiosk near the entrance. Any guest who exhibits Covid 19 symptoms will be asked to leave and a full refund will be issued.
Social Distancing will be practiced and enforced. Please observe the postings throughout the park.
Lodges are available by phone reservation only. Please call us at 209-736-0404.

We stayed in the RV park (not a room), but the sites are very well maintained. Completely level and not crammed together. Staff is very friendly and the rates are reasonable. We've stayed before and will definitely return.

The staff was friendly and it was an overall relaxing stay. The site was clean and everything worked fine. The only complaint I have was the yapping little dog in someone's trailer. Their trailer is right in the middle of the campground and the sound ruined the quite, peaceful atmosphere.

Stayed at this rv park while in town for work. Long term, a littler over a year, and it was amazing. Pleanty of room. Trailers are not ontop of eachother and everyone in the park was friendly. We made some amazing friends while here and plan on moving back to the area as soon as we can

What a beautiful & fantastic place to stay. This was our first trip to Angeles Camp and we (my wife and I) had a wonderful stay. The entire camp site is clean, the staff was great and out spot (#9) was easy to use and set up. We most definitely will be back.

We were camping here during off-season and loved it. Very quiet and relaxing. Close to a lot of things to do and the weather was perfect. The only downside is our stay was to short. Full hookups, Wi-Fi was good enough to stream shows on our TV and cell service was great as well. Camp hosts were great! It was a good stay.

I stayed for two years. ACRV was my second home as I stayed during my work days. Staff is friendly, the park is quiet, clean and safe. I was very comfortable and grateful for my time there. Only left because I got a transfer working closer to home. Thank you ACRV!

This RV resort is great. It's clean, easy to access just outside of town. Management was friendly, and they have Tesla EV chargers on site for those traveling in an electric vehicle.

Lovely campground; great dog runs, friendly and customer-service oriented staff. Close to tourist gold-rush towns of Angels Camp, Murphys, Columbia, Sonora and others. Take a side trip down the road to see Mark Twain's Cabin, or just enjoy the trees and golden hills from your campsite. We were there in early November 2024 and were treated to lots of fall color and mild temperatures.

We loved our stay. RV resort was well maintained with friendly staff. They had full hookups, pool, play area, laundry, and a dog park. It was close to lots of shopping, restaurants and a lake for water activities. RV sites were good size and pretty level which made parking our motorhome very easy.

Stayed in a tent site and it was wonderful. Ground was level and came with two wooden chairs, a bench, firepit , and covered structure and lots of shade. The structure had a light and a an outlet which is something I’ve never seen at a tent site before! We also had a water spigot as well.Facilities were clean and well kept. We will be back!

Our stay at Angels Camp RV Resort was fantastic, especially because of the cozy cabin that had a full-size bed, a bunk bed, and a heater to keep us warm. The ladies in the office were very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway, you should definitely check out this resort!

Average RV park. Large pull through spaces, but all dirt and gravel. No grass and the trees and shrubbery are dying from lack of water. There are virtually no path lights or other types of lighting which can be dangerous. The bathrooms and showers are clean and accommodating. Very strong WiFi, the best I’ve encountered at any park. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

This is a very nice resort. The staff were extremely friendly! The sites are nice , clean with full hook ups. The resort is very dog friendly and has one of the best sized dog parks we have experienced at an RV resort. This our 7th visit we’ll definitely be back! The town of Murphy's has great music , wine tasting and food very dog friendly as well. It is close by and a 40 minute drive to Calaveras Big Trees state Park is just up the hill. A great way to get out of the heat. The park is dog friendly, but dogs are only allowed on the road and one fire road. It is still worth the drive. New Melones lake offers good hiking dog friendly, but hot and offered serious Mountain Lion warnings

We stayed here for a weekend as Ironstone Amphitheater in Murphys was having a concert we wanted to attend. The venue is about 12 miles away and an easy drive.This place is nice. The staff are so friendly and helpful and they even had some one guide us to our pull through spot.There is a small store that carries a few snack items, some rv items, and a few groceries. There is also a pool and volleyball nets and a basketball hoop, but we didn't use these facilities.I'll come back here for sure!

Our first time here and we loved it! What a great Memorial weekend camping trip with friends at Angels Camp RV & Camping Resort! The wagon wheel area is great for group camping! The is perfect & clean. The resort was great for older kids also basketball, horse shoe pit, and volley ball net. The grounds & restrooms were very clean! The staff was absolutely amazing from the time we checked in to the time we did a late check out. I love that they have staff there to guide you to your spot and also HELP you back in your rig! The little gift shop is filled with lots of cool souvenirs & anything you need that you may have forgotten. Some sites are not shaded and the RV pads are gravel/dirt. We will be returning our group had a blast!

Great campgrounds with friendly helpful staff, easy to get in and out of the campsite. Nice peaceful setting for a quite relaxing weekend after Thanksgiving at our place, just what we needed. Great place to camp if you are not the great outdoors person. We had a large party and were able to reserve their quaint cabins, lots of shade, near the community kitchen, so cooking was convenient, the bathrooms are clean and stocked, the pool is clean, but a bit on the cold side. The staff is freindly, the groundsman, Caleb, i think is his name, is very helpful and polite. The play area is great for the little ones, horse shoes. volleyball and tetherball for the teens and adults, There is a dog park and lots of little trails for walks. Overall a great place for a family camp holiday......oohh, and Lake New Melones is so close by if you want to boat or just swim in the lake.

We recently spent five nights here and found it to be a nice location with friendly and helpful staff. Campsites were spacious and well placed and many had shade, which was really nice since it was very hot while we were there. Swimming pool was nice and clean although unheated, and campground was quiet even though it was full.

We've been glamping in Angels Camp for years. We really like it there. I've already made reservations for 2019. The staff is very friendly, park is fairly quiet, and not far from town if we've forgotten something and need to run to the store. I do wish the pool was heated though. Other than that we've always had a good experience.

Perfect for camping with kids! We stayed at one of the premium tent sites and it was the best decision we made the whole trip. Central camp kitchen, playground, pool but not as yuppie as some of the rv parks can be. Kids loved catching toads and frogs then releasing them back into the wild.
